Why ask Why?
The statistics are frightening and will only continue to get worse. An increasing number of people are being diagnosed with cancer, according to the American Cancer Society 2007 Statistics report, it is expected that 1 out of every 3 person will be diagnosed with cancer. Each of us knows at least one person who has had some experience with cancer in one form or another. Cancer is an equal opportunity disease, striking at times without warning and very often causing severe stress and strain in families. We at Grace Fellowship are serious about loving each other as our Lord has commanded us to. For this reason, we have established the Grace Cancer Care Ministry to demonstrate that love to those impacted by cancer.
What is the Grace Cancer Care Ministry?
Even though we are spiritually secure in Jesus Christ, our bodies are not exempted from the consequences of the fall. However it is during times of greatest needs that the love of Jesus is best manifested. The Grace Cancer Care Ministry exists to provide an outlet for believers to serve others within the Grace community who have been impacted by cancer. We seek to:

Anyone who wants to serve or is in need of assistance.

When and where do you meet?
We meet monthly (the fourth Sundays of each month) in Grace (Downstairs)Room 105, 4:00 PM to 5:15 PM.

Mission Statement
To glorify the Lord by enhancing the well-being of children and adults who have been diagnosed with cancer by providing ongoing practical, spiritual, mental and emotional support. Why ask Why?

- Encourage each other in the fight with cancer (spiritual, emotional)
- Share of the goodness and faithfulness of our Lord.
- Provide practical assistance where possible.
- Provide a shoulder to lean on or even to cry on.
- Inform and educate others on cancer.
- Connect individuals with cancer resources and organizations for practical support.
Who can participate in the ministry?
Anyone who wants to serve or is in need of assistance.
- If you are willing and want to serve others who have been impacted by cancer, then this ministry is for you.
- If you have had experience (survivors, care providers, professional) with cancer and want to serve, this ministry is for you.
- If you know someone who needs help then you can be their representative.
- If you are diagnosed with cancer and need a Christian community for support.
